Tom Brady Posts Heartwarming Family Photo Before Super Bowl Match

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady posted an adorable family photo on Instagram on Saturday, the day before his team’s match against the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII.

He captioned the picture with “Family and Football.” The family photo showed him posing and smiling with his extended family, which included his wife Gisele Bündchen, as well as his children Jack, Benjamin, and Vivian.

He also put a heart emoji and used the hashtag, “#gopats.”

Bündchen is evidently by Brady’s side, but just last spring, the supermodel asked Jay Feely, a retired kicker and their family friend, to convince Brady to retire.

“She was dead serious,” Feely shared. Feely said that he told Brady, “Play as long as you can.” The quarterback simply gave a smile and then winked.

It’s been known that Brady’s wife wanted him to retire. After the Patriots’ Super Bowl victory over the Falcons last year, Brady said that he was not planning on retiring any time soon. On Monday, he explained that he would like to continue playing until he is 45.

“If it was up to my wife, she would have me retire today,” Brady shared on a show in February. “She told me that last night… three times!”

Bündchen was asked in May about whether she was trying to convince her husband to retire. The interview revealed that Brady had suffered a number of concussions, including one in the previous season.

“I just have to say, as a wife, I’m a little bit — as you know, it’s not the most, let’s say ‘unaggressive’ sport, right?” Bündchen answered. “Football, like he had a concussion last year. I mean, he has concussions pretty much every  year — we don’t talk about it, but he does have concussions.” Bündchen said. However, according to the NFL, no injury was reported by either Brady or the Patriots.
